About Us

Our family is rooted in the Pacific Northwest and we maintain strong ties to Denmark where we have lived, worked, and studied.

Our work is based on a deep appreciation for the Pacific Northwest, combined with the influence of Nordic design principles, quality workmanship, and strong preference for sustainable building practices.

We are located on Lopez Island in the beautiful San Juan Islands and we work in San Juan, Skagit, Island, Snohomish, and Whatcom Counties.

Mark grew up in a family of carpenters and has been designing and building houses ever since. Mark is a skilled and knowledgeable craftsman and a BIAW Certified Builder. Larissa has a background in administration and project management and handles the business side.

Levi and Hayley are extraordinarily talented craftspeople and run their own business, Maiben Fixtures and Furnishings. You can see more about their work here.
